Bridgend Coalition of Disabled People aims to: Promote equality for disabled people living in the Bridgend County Borough area. Advocate the views of disabled people and provide peer support amongst disabled people living locally. We are part of the Lottery funded project "Shaping Our Lives and Communities, Planning Together". The project runs for three years and aims to support disabled people in Bridgend to get involved with improving services. This project is part of a portfolio of seven co-ordinated by BAVO as part of the Community Voice project. The group holds a monthly coffee morning. Always looking for an new accessible venues to meet. Any suggestions/reccomendations gratefully received.
