Tyrone Calls Time

Tyrone Pritchard decided to step down as team manager. With son Kieron’s step up from age grade rugby to Youth and Saturday afternoon games, Tyrone wants to take the time to watch him play.

For a number of years; Tyrone has diligently, conscientiously and most importantly with the patience of a saint, undertaken the role.

From all at the club, “A huge thank you, Tyrone for all your hard work.”

Club Chairman Robert Williams stated: “I want to place on record the entire club’s gratitude to Tyrone for his dedication to the task of managing our senior teams for a number of years. Times have changed and it is often a thankless task, but Tyrone kept ploughing forward doing everything that he could to ensure the team gets on the field.”

“Tyrone has been a huge cog in the machine that ensures Maesteg Harlequins RFC has had the success that it has. The work he puts in behind the scenes will be irreplaceable,” said senior club coach Dean Ronan. Ronan added, “Tyrone will still very much be part of the club and I’m sure he will be in the lounge having a beer with us.”
