Maesteg Quins Welcomes Dylan Morgan

Maesteg Harlequins are absolutely delighted to announce the signing of scrum-half Dylan Morgan.

An alumni of Cardiff Metropolitan Morgan played alongside Akeem Eubank-Anderson and Brandon Huntley, for the last three seasons.

While delighted to have played a part in Cameron Jones signing semi-professional terms ‘north of the border,’ it meant Dean Ronan was keen to bolster the scrum-half berth to maintain competition for the jersey. Former Scarlets age grade player, Morgan fits the bill and is another player who adds to an exciting Quins back-line.

Dylan hails from Aberaeron and played for his home town on the picturesque ground with its view overlooking Cardigan Bay. Work commitments mean Morgan is unavailable until mid-August, but he will be looking to make up for lost time when he arrives.

Dean Ronan is thrilled Dylan decided to join the Coal Black & Blood Reds and add to the current and historically long line of exceptional half-back performers for the club.

“Dylan was seeking a club after leaving Cardiff Met. Wanting to play Championship rugby Maesteg Quins were pleased to throw its hat into the ring. Thankfully Dylan chose us, and I am over the moon to welcome Dylan to the club.”
