A Summer Like No Other - Upcoming Fixtures July - August - September

A Summer Like No Other

The long wait looks like being over with fixtures for the next ten weeks being announced for what looks like an exciting, yet still unusual start to 2021-2022.

Fixtures begin with a home match against the Armed Forces Barbarians. This is quickly followed by the short trek to face more traditional pre-season opponents Heol y Cyw.

The Quins are on the road again the following week to play old friends and rivals Ystalyfera.

Competition rugby begins with the amazing, exciting and mouthwatering prospect of facing Neath RFC on their inaugural visit to South Parade, in the Championship Cup. The following week, Bridgend Ravens grace the green grass in a superb South Parade double.

The second match in the Championship Cup comes around with an away fixture at Margam, when Quins visit Tata Steel on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Returning to the scene of perhaps the club's greatest moment - the Gnoll, the Quins play the return round of Championship Cup fixtures gets September under way. Ystalyfera come to Maesteg a week later and at the end of September, the final Championship Cup match will be played at home against tata Steel.

This summer is like no other and after being starved of fifteen-a-side rugby for a year and a half, it will be a real feast to savour; especially as there are a great deal of exceptional new talent that will be on view.

The fixtures are a fantastic mixture of meetings with old friends and new butties we have yet to meet. Some of Wales' biggest clubs and mouthwatering competitive rugby. Maesteg Harlequins hope we can welcome all our old followers back, along with many more new supporters who wish to enjoy the South Parade experience.

Match sponsorships are available and an ideal way to celebrate the return of fifteen-a-side rugby. Contact the club for further details.
