ER COF - ROGER ACKERMAN - IN MEMORY
On Saturday news had filtered through of the sad passing of long standing club member Roger Ackerman.
Roger was more than just a member. For a number of years he was a committeeman who executed his club duties with distinction.
As part of a forward thinking group whose legacy can be seen in the clubhouse.
Sadly ill-health prevented him from attending matches or visiting the club as much as he would have wished, but his thoughts were always of the club. If Facebook and Twitter are of any use to the world, they proved their worth in allowing Roger to make his regular supportive comments.
An exceptional family man. A hard worker, A long-standing, outstanding Quins follower.The best type of man.
Our thoughts are with Roger's family at this sad time.
Goodbye Roger we are sorry to see you leave us. The pleasure was all ours. We won't receive your messages of unbending support any longer, but we know you'll be keeping an eye on us from heaven.
