The vacant backs coaching berth was quickly filled. Maesteg Quins are delighted to announce former Bridgend, Maesteg and Cardiff three-quarter Grant Epton has agreed to coach the backs as the Quins enter the WRU Championship.
Epton also played for the Wales Dragonhearts and Celtic Crusaders in rugby league. He also turned out in goal for Llangynwyd Rangers.
Epton brings a wealth of experience to the role, having coached Maesteg for a number of seasons before transferring to the Quins mid-campaign in 2017-2018..
The Quins wish Grant a long and successful tenure.
